那一天,我们一起看的麻河

*那一天,我们一起看的麻河

Is been a while since the last trip. Life lately is all about working and working, and working. Was wondering is this what that is looking for, is this what that is really wanted. Anyway back to this short trip that we spent in Muar. Yes, Muar =). Why Muar? Well, initially we were planning to have a getaway to this hot spring but unfortunately it was fully booked. So we finally resort to somewhere that we never been to before. When you went and tell your friends that "hey I just spent my weekend in Muar. It was fun" and their reply will be like "Muar?! What can you do over there?". Even Muarian themselves say Muar is a boring town. But honestly this getaway is really one relaxing one, and the entire trip is so much better with our local guide.

*Meet Mr Loon, our Muar guide cum super poser.

*My trip-mates =)

We spent almost half a day on the road, and as soon as we step into Muar, we were brought to his mansion to unload all our stuff and off we go to the first stop to fill our stomach. Then right after that, the well known Tanjung which is famous to see monkeys lepak-ing around. Next stop, we were brought to this so called teh tarik beach and had a round of photographing session. Followed by the Muar river and another round of photographing session... Hmm, guess it is better to let the pictures tell the story, I shall keep quiet before we are put into slumber.

*Welcome to Muar, the town with high rise... antenna =)

*The teh tarik beach...

*... whereby the most interesting stuff to do is to take photo...

*... and to take photo of others taking photo of others -_-'

*The 麻 river.

*Cam whore - front view

*Cam whore - side view. 0_0...

*Mr Loon introducing the awesome pictures he took, and it is started with something like this
"我跟你讲..."

*We have our guide to demonstrate how to pose with the train.

*Muar's famous coffee

*So nice that my gastric knows when is the 'best time' to hit me till I can only watch and smell =(

With the guide on board, boredom seems to lost its existence inside the holiday dictionary. There were so much of things that he shared with us throughout the entire day in Muar. So much that I can only remembered that he used to order his burger from the window of his classroom, 2 floors and a road away from him. And this tour guide of us really knows his area very much, so much that he knows it will take 2 minutes and 34 seconds to reach to our dinner place and 15 minutes and 25 seconds to reach to the k-box. Yea, truly amazing!
*Sing K session

*Practically he can cam whore anytime at anywhere with anything

The next day, we had our breakfast at our tour guide's favourite food stall and bought the otak otak before we head back to Malacca. Yup, Malacca again but this time it is rather less interesting because the whole Malacca is flooded with people from all around the world, even Nadeje will take you centuries to get a place in it. But the dinner itself is special enough to mark the end of this two days one night trip. We get to roll our own Popia!

*Otak Otak

*On the way to Malacca =)

*First stop, to satisfy our hunger

*Then we headed to the beach, to waste time =)

*好,来,你站那边,你们站过去另外一边

*不会听华语啊,叫你站过去啦!

*XD

*The one behind our delicious dinner. Thank you.

Though it is only such a short trip, but it does relax myself, both physically and mentally. And of course we get to see the other side of our tour guide. Hmm, ok, I think it is only me myself who get to see the other side of Mr Loon. Back then during the time in Melbourne, Mr Loon to me was someone who is extremely quiet and cold, something similar to SOS when she was still a block of ice to me. Only now after this trip I realized he is one joker, an Oscar-winning-standard one. Anyway, that weekend was really a great one =)

*Pieces of memory =)

P/S: Perhaps it has been quite a while I didn't blog, or maybe the work itself has changes the entire mindset of mine. It was quite struggling to crap out this entire post and the flow is just not there. Look forward to more things aside from work so that this place will not be left abandoned for months. Hmm... it seems that I really blame everything to my work. Does that indicate something?

*Till we meet again =)

*Study life. No more.

Exactly one month just pass and it is as if yesterday was the first day I am labeled as an engineer. Back then when I was still a student, I have always dream of leaving uni and work as an engineer. What I am talking here is the 'under-developed' mindset of mine when I was at second year. Perhaps the stress of continuously coming assignments and projects built up that silly mindset. I totally had no idea why I ever dream of being an engineer while the actual fact is that, an engineering student's life is so much more enjoyable than an engineer. And that mindset finally got a major tuning during third year and by the edge of finishing this course, I always dream of staying as an engineering student forever XD. Yes, I miss study life extremely a lot.

*Time flies... Really fast...

Thinking back, fourth year might be slightly lifeless than third year but overall, it is still quite happening, at least if you were to ask me to list out what major event on each month till now, I can roughly draft out that list. Hmm... Well, let's give it a try. Let's just don over-estimate ourselves to start listing up from the beginning of 2010, how about we put our 'financial' year at the mid year of 2010 =)?

June - I supposed this is the busiest month for the first semester because exam period is drawing very near. So the most happening stuff I can think of was the study group we used to have. During that time we still yet to dominate our FYP lab and our final resort will be either library or cafeteria, and of coz not to forget the empty classroom in level 2. Hmm... Thinking back, those days where we get to sit together discussing pass year papers and crapping, were really great. =)

*An evident of 'engineering students are not 100% no-life'. We conquer the mountain! (Tabur only)

July - Semester break! and the greatest stuff during that time was the so called winter break of aussie people. Yea, winter break on a 24/7 summer-land. But that trip itself was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing trip of all.

August - The only stuff that pass through my mind when I think about August 2010 was the famine 30. Ok, to be exact I only starve for like 12 hours. Forgive me, I tried my very best to the extend I hid myself under the table to satisfy my hunger, just to avoid those camp-leaders caught me 'red-handed'. Overall, that camp was indeed unforgettable. I don think I will ever sleep on a few pieces of cardboard, in the middle of the road, right below the moon, and wake up after the 'nature's alarm' sounded (I mean raining).

September - FYP due date was drawing extremely near. However, this doesn't stop us from going to, perhaps the last Monash Ball. Paying around 80 something, and what we got in return was a memorable and glamorous night, with tonnes of photos. Probably that night was the only night where we dressed up till so glam =). I personally enjoy that ball (and of coz the after party) very much.

*Those days were so memorable

October - Stress was in the air, ok, maybe it was only myself because the FYP submission date was so near and yet my progress was practically zero. At least, there was something that took us out from the FYP lab and to my house for a house party session. Our main objective was to give Kha Liang a surprise for his birthday but then things kinda went off-track slightly. Still, it was one of the best gathering of all. Why? Imagine Si Keat and Wye Hoe said yes to attend and additionally you have Kee in quite a few photos. Haha... That is like the rare-est thing you can expect.

*The last picture before we went to the battlefield, against the notorious lecturers XD.

November - Time to say farewell to each and every corner of Engineering Building. The FYP presentation roughly marked the end of this 4 years of study life. What was left back then was only the final exam and soon after that was a long long break. 2nd semester... The thing that I missed most were those days where I spent most of my time in school, practically more than the time I spent at home. I still remember there was once the 12 of us went all the way to SS15 just to take away AyamMas chicken rice and ate it right in front of the library. Those days... Hmm...

*'Group study' =)

*The so called Last Dinner @ Shogun

December to April - Well, basically these four months were the most happening one. Malacca, Langkawi, Bali and Singapore. Need not to elaborate more on that, don't you? I am afraid further elaboration on that will put you in sweet slumber.

*Perhaps the happiest CNY of all

*It has been quite some time since the last time I had my dream here.

*Meet the sponsorship termination contract aka Degree Certificate

May - Marked the beginning of a new chapter of life. Totally different from the one previously. The pressure and stress took a different form, appearing in the same way as it used to be last time. No more format to follow, instruction as guidance nor anyone to seek for help. Everyone is busy and basically no one is going to spend out his few pieces of moment to listen to your problem. Just felt like I was thrown to the deep blue sea, in search for the seaside. Hopefully I won get drown halfway before I reach.

*不知不觉,三年了。。。

P/S: I met you as a student as well as a failure, kept on bothering you with my long-winded grandma story. Then I have you deliver my warm messages back home to my homies when I wasn't around. And occasionally, I shared the moments of some of my trips as well as other memorable events. Thanks for the accompany throughout these years and I hope that there are more happy moments to share with you. And now here I am as a so called engineer, wishing you...

*Happy Birthday, Resonance of Life. And thank you =).

Farewell... Hello...

*Farewell, midnight...

If people give me a survey with the question "Which part of the day that you like the most?", and with no hesitation, my answer would definitely be midnight. I forgot since when I love staying up till midnight and I enjoyed being there, even though there is nothing better to do beside going to bed. Hmm... I do have a set of reason why midnight is the best part of a day =). Because it is the beginning of a new day, and you are actually welcoming it with a so called 'celebration' that last for hours (though sometimes there isn't anything during the celebration). Ok, that was just an excuses.

*Another thing I enjoyed doing at night, outside =).

The reason is that, it is during this time that you are totally alone and it is as if the whole world just become so silent. The only thing you can barely listen to will be your favourite repeating song. Ya, that is basically what I enjoyed doing most during midnight. But probably, tonight will be the last night for me to enjoy this lifestyle that hokkien will name me "SIAO LANG". Hmm... Typical, it is only when you are going to lose it, only then you learn how to appreciate it and miss it. And no doubt at this moment, I have already started to miss my so called 'Dark Age'. Dark in the sense that nothing much was done in the day time besides sleeping and those necessary stuff (taking meals and answering nature's call). I do agree that my day actually started after dinner. Oh my, up till what I have typed here, I really think my lifestyle is so abnormal, but ironically I enjoyed it =).

*There goes my SIAO LANG days

*Luckily my SIAO LANG days on weekends aren't that lifeless. Birthday celebrations are one after another.

*We first have Bing's...

*... then followed by Chong Hoong's...

*... and Evelyn's one as well.

*Not to forget the once in a life time ceremony. =)

The last day I stepped into the FYP lab till now, it has been almost half a year. That was one long holiday. So long that I can barely remember every detail of every single day. Throughout these period, trips took up quite a number of slots. First was the Mechatronics Langkawi trip, then followed by a mini Malacca trip and finally the grand one, Bali Trip. But the one thing that really took up most of my time is job searching. From online application to recommendation from others and finally to the Singapore Job Search Trip (well, we did went to the jobfair, just that it is not worth staying for whole day only then we decided to go Marina Bay =P), I have been to numerous interviews and of coz, rejected numerous offers. But one thing, I really learn something about myself from this job searching experience and I am still working very hard to overcome it. Hopefully karma don hit me on my first job for rejecting those offers.

*Bali... Indeed a wonderful place with wonderful memories.

*Didn't expect this to turn out to be quite smooth.

*See those recycle bag? It is a proof that we did went there =)

Well, nothing much. Just wanna scribble something onto this soon-to-be-abandoned blog of mine before I welcome the next page of my life. Hmm... I might make this entire blogpost sounded as if it is the end of the world tomorrow, but at this current moment, I do feel what chinese used to say, 忐忑不安. Again, I think it is the sudden transition that I don get used to it. Way back last time, the thing that actually took up my major concern will be to get good grades, but now the aim somehow became so much wider till I can hardly see what am I aiming. Back to the question that actually strike me for months, What Do I Really Want? Hmm... I hope the answer will become clearer soon. Really hope it won't be too long till I really know what I want.

*Carefree weekends...

*... and weekdays... Bye, I guess.

Ok, clock hit 3 and it is my usual sleeping time. And it will be unusual starting tomorrow. Time for a major tuning to my biological clock. Farewell, midnight and take care and..........

*Hello, early morning and nice to meet you...

P/S: Hopefully the next blogpost will not be a series of complaints from work XD.

Untitled

It is as if a wake up alarm just hit on me...
To wake me up from this sweetest dream ever...
To make me realize that it is time to back to normal...
To tell me that for what had happened, it is all over...

Spring came with all the wonderful moments started to blossom...
But it never last and summer started to burn it away slowly...
It just fade away along with the autumn wind...
and all that is left are just pieces of winter-cold memory...

If it wasn't the moments, there wouldn't be a step ahead...
If it wasn't a step ahead, there wouldn't be good memory...
and if it wasn't the memory, thing will be how it used to be back then...
and perhaps it will be much better now...

Thought that for what had happened, it will be so much different...
Indeed it is, just the opposite way...
and now turning back seems to be so painful...
but there is no second option to be chosen...

Promise is made and it will never be broken...
Just like how it used to be last time...
Will be there when is needed, as always...
But one thing change, and will try not to be shown...
