ALways Online

*Don't laugh, I don't think it's funny.

Yea.... Finally I got my very own internet line... and ya, this place is full with dust... Gonna clean up very soon...

Ok... Just a brief summary of what I have been doing for this 1st month in Melbourne... Homesick? Yes I do but not to the extreme that I need to go airport purchase a boarding pass and fly back to KL now... Don get me wrong, I really miss my family and my buddies in KL... and my sis as well =)... And I missed all the usual stuff I did back then when I was in KL... Mamak (Shops here close at 9 the latest, and here do have 24 hours McDonald's, but it is like 30 minutes walk from here)... Left 4 Dead =(...

Where was I? Oh ya, my life in Melbourne... Before my line go off, let me brief through everything in the speed of Keat Ming...

Days before I settled down....

*On the very 1st day I reach Melbourne.

I miss you.

I have reached Melbourne and I just found out I am not good in adapting to different living environment. From the cabin till the very moment I am sitting in front of the computer typing all these stuff, everything just so different from what I expected. Until this very moment I still can’t accept the truth that I am already at Melbourne. I am so afraid everything will change in Malaysia. I am so afraid by the time I go back, everything will be different. I wish that I can still lead on those carefree life, playing left 4 dead, yam cha session and everything. I really miss all those moments.

The weather here a bit kee siao. It was suppose to be summer but out there the temperature now is like 10 degree Celsius I guess. Today I went to the Melbourne City under the guidance of Vivian (Alan’s girlfriend). The city is really very crowded with all kind of entertainments, but I just do not have the feeling of enjoyment. I thought I will be ok, but it turns out to be even worst than what I thought.

Anyway, Happy Valentines to everyone. Appreciate the one you love the most every moment. Tell them how much you love them before it is too late.

I shall write again soon. Hopefully not that homesick anymore.

P/S: I miss you.

Homesick

Yes, I am in terrible homesick condition!

While I was having dinner just now at McDonald’s (fast food again), I just found out how grateful I am to be living with my family. Every morning I have got nutrition drink, which I used to hate so much and often skipping dinner. Now I need to wait for almost a year only I can have those things back and I am afraid my health will go into downfall as I consume fast food often. I miss my family a lot.

I hope everything will not change when I go back to Malaysia. Everyone is still there healthy and happy. I wish that so so much.

Tonight’s weather is even worst. When I am on my way back to the motel, the wind really very strong and it really freeze me to death. Sis, finally I can use the scarf that you guys gave it to me =). Thank you very much. That is really very warm. I really miss everything in my hometown.

Take care and be careful always, buddies. And always be cautious on the road.

P/S: I do not know whether you know that I have had a blog. I just wish that you will take care yourselves as much as possible. I will too, Mom & Dad. I miss you =(.

First Dinner

Today is my third day in Melbourne. To be honest I am still very homesick. The feeling just came out of a sudden when I think of how hard is it here compared to life in hometown. No doubt, I think I am spoilt all these while.

We went all the way to Chadstone Shopping Mall again today’s morning to settle Kha Liang’s phone problem and I thought of signing up a cap service (post-paid) but I still lack of a lot of documents to be eligible for the plan. Sorry buddies, I will give you guys my Australia phone number as soon as I get the plan all done.

While we were waiting for bus to Clayton Road to search for more details, we met some of our coursemates like Jia Yeng, Wei Yun and others. They have already started to shop for daily goods and kinda enjoying life in the Hall. That very moment I really felt very sad with my current situation. I really wish to settle down now.

I had walk for almost 5 to 6 km (according to Kha Liang) today along Clayton Road to only take a few picture of the rental list and had our lunch. That hour of walking is really killing me. I was taking my sling bag with laptop in it throughout the whole journey along Clayton Road and it is unimaginably heavy. My shoulders are in deep ache now.

However, tonight’s dinner was the most satisfying one throughout my three days life here in Melbourne. We went over to Lawrence Wan (Bing’s friend) house for dinner tonight and the best thing is that, he can cook perfectly well. I finally had the feeling of having dinner at home.

Thank you very much for the delicious dinner buddy =).

P/S: Tonight is the First Dinner to me. Thanks a lot Lawrence.

Partially Settled Down

Today is the 1st day of orientation. The overall orientation was very enjoying and fill with all kinds of jokes (to be honest, only few as I can still hardly understand the Australian accent). Anyway, I am really looking forward to the days coming ahead in this year. I wish that I will not be isolated from the crowd and get mixed around with all kinds of people. During the orientation, we have a show of hand of which countries are we from and I actually had a slight shock to see that I am sitting inside a hall which gathers more than 10 nationalities around the world (American, Italian, Singaporean, etc) and we Malaysian are the major nationality among the Intercampus/International Exchange students.

In rental matter, we have paid the bond and one month rental. In other words, I am partially settled down. The sad thing is that for this current moment, our “new” house is still blank and no utility service at all, so it’s highly impossible to move in there this week unless we are sleeping on the carpet and lighting up candles with no air-con nor fans. Talking about our new house, the first impression wasn’t really good as my expectation was being influenced by certain houses that we visited, but overall this house is still good and spacious. Hopefully when the landlord get all the things that we complained done pretty well as soon as possible, this whole house will be good to stay for my entire academic year.

Thank you very much for all the messages (and MMS as well, Michele). I am safe here (and not being kidnapped or something else, Nick). I will get to you guys as soon as I am fully settled down. Hope you guys will take care as much as possible (and my sis as well, Nick =).

That’s for all. I miss you guys.

P/S: Trying to watch Gundam 00 in Mandarin subtitle. I want all the AVI files as soon as I go back. Save it for me sis and Nick.

Moved In

I have finally moved in to a house permanently for the rest of this year. I no longer need to stay at motel or friend’s house anymore as the bed and the mattress were here this morning as well. Of course, all that need to pay and I am so lucky to have the bed frame from Kha Liang’s uncle. Thank you very much.

So for the rest of the furniture, we will have to buy it ourselves and we went all the way to IKEA hopefully to get some furniture back. Yes, we did compile a list of items and we were heading to the stock hall happily. Unfortunately, when we collect almost everything we need, Bing suddenly told us that certain items were out of stock, and therefore the rest of the things cannot be purchased today because if we separate two times to deliver, the deliver cost will be two times of the normal delivery fees we should pay. Therefore, guess what we brought back? NOTHING, we brought nothing back.

Today I went to Melbourne City again and the feeling were so different from the first time I went there on the first day I reached Australia. Today I really enjoy myself to the full extend. One of the biggest thing that I am relief of is that I finally settled down. And the next thing is that I am so happy to heard each and everyone of my buddies in KL through phone. It really felt that I am just besides them although I am so far away. I miss everyone of you, and of course I miss you too sis (Chei Lin) =).

I wish to get my internet line as soon as possible so that I can really stay in touch with you guys online. And I really wish that we can really keep in touch. I really do not wish to see everything become so different when I go back.

P/S: I want to online, NORMALLY. I am using phone to check e mail currently and I just knew that my phone is so useful =).

Fully Furnished

Things are getting settled down bit by bit. I have finally unpacked everything to the shared wardrobe. Besides all the unpacking going on, my room is starting to fill up with all the necessary furniture. I am so glad and relief to have most of the thing done within the orientation week. But in the expenses sense, I think I am over spending it, especially on food. I just came to realize that my appetite is getting bigger and bigger. Nick, beware of your YOU-KNOW-WHERE. I suggest you quickly go make an appointment with the Steven’s Corner’s boss to confirm when can we see have your promise to be fulfilled… hehe…

That’s all for now… I am looking forward to the internet line to be done. Hopefully by this week.

P/S: In the process of finding housemate to fill in the remaining two small rooms.

That's all for the moment. I will try to fix the corrupted part when the line is stable... I believe that picture tells a thousand word and ya, those pictures describe my life here in Melbourne. Those are only pictures which show the moment when I m kinda enjoying myself. Study here is really hectic. Everything just doesn't make sense to me. And the accent is even harder to understand. But anyway, I will try my best to cope with my study.

P/S: Miss you all very much...

*Buddies, take care.

*And sis as well, take care too.
