*那一天,我们一起看的麻河
Is been a while since the last trip. Life lately is all about working and working, and working. Was wondering is this what that is looking for, is this what that is really wanted. Anyway back to this short trip that we spent in Muar. Yes, Muar =). Why Muar? Well, initially we were planning to have a getaway to this hot spring but unfortunately it was fully booked. So we finally resort to somewhere that we never been to before. When you went and tell your friends that "hey I just spent my weekend in Muar. It was fun" and their reply will be like "Muar?! What can you do over there?". Even Muarian themselves say Muar is a boring town. But honestly this getaway is really one relaxing one, and the entire trip is so much better with our local guide.
*Meet Mr Loon, our Muar guide cum super poser.
*My trip-mates =)
We spent almost half a day on the road, and as soon as we step into Muar, we were brought to his mansion to unload all our stuff and off we go to the first stop to fill our stomach. Then right after that, the well known Tanjung which is famous to see monkeys lepak-ing around. Next stop, we were brought to this so called teh tarik beach and had a round of photographing session. Followed by the Muar river and another round of photographing session... Hmm, guess it is better to let the pictures tell the story, I shall keep quiet before we are put into slumber.
*Welcome to Muar, the town with high rise... antenna =)
*The teh tarik beach...
*... whereby the most interesting stuff to do is to take photo...
*... and to take photo of others taking photo of others -_-'
*The 麻 river.
*Cam whore - front view
*Cam whore - side view. 0_0...
*Mr Loon introducing the awesome pictures he took, and it is started with something like this
"我跟你讲..."
*We have our guide to demonstrate how to pose with the train.
*Muar's famous coffee
*So nice that my gastric knows when is the 'best time' to hit me till I can only watch and smell =(
With the guide on board, boredom seems to lost its existence inside the holiday dictionary. There were so much of things that he shared with us throughout the entire day in Muar. So much that I can only remembered that he used to order his burger from the window of his classroom, 2 floors and a road away from him. And this tour guide of us really knows his area very much, so much that he knows it will take 2 minutes and 34 seconds to reach to our dinner place and 15 minutes and 25 seconds to reach to the k-box. Yea, truly amazing!
*Sing K session
*Practically he can cam whore anytime at anywhere with anything
The next day, we had our breakfast at our tour guide's favourite food stall and bought the otak otak before we head back to Malacca. Yup, Malacca again but this time it is rather less interesting because the whole Malacca is flooded with people from all around the world, even Nadeje will take you centuries to get a place in it. But the dinner itself is special enough to mark the end of this two days one night trip. We get to roll our own Popia!
*Otak Otak
*On the way to Malacca =)
*First stop, to satisfy our hunger
*Then we headed to the beach, to waste time =)
*好,来,你站那边,你们站过去另外一边
*不会听华语啊,叫你站过去啦!
*XD
*The one behind our delicious dinner. Thank you.
Though it is only such a short trip, but it does relax myself, both physically and mentally. And of course we get to see the other side of our tour guide. Hmm, ok, I think it is only me myself who get to see the other side of Mr Loon. Back then during the time in Melbourne, Mr Loon to me was someone who is extremely quiet and cold, something similar to SOS when she was still a block of ice to me. Only now after this trip I realized he is one joker, an Oscar-winning-standard one. Anyway, that weekend was really a great one =)
*Pieces of memory =)
*Till we meet again =)
