Exactly one month just pass and it is as if yesterday was the first day I am labeled as an engineer. Back then when I was still a student, I have always dream of leaving uni and work as an engineer. What I am talking here is the 'under-developed' mindset of mine when I was at second year. Perhaps the stress of continuously coming assignments and projects built up that silly mindset. I totally had no idea why I ever dream of being an engineer while the actual fact is that, an engineering student's life is so much more enjoyable than an engineer. And that mindset finally got a major tuning during third year and by the edge of finishing this course, I always dream of staying as an engineering student forever XD. Yes, I miss study life extremely a lot.
*Time flies... Really fast...
Thinking back, fourth year might be slightly lifeless than third year but overall, it is still quite happening, at least if you were to ask me to list out what major event on each month till now, I can roughly draft out that list. Hmm... Well, let's give it a try. Let's just don over-estimate ourselves to start listing up from the beginning of 2010, how about we put our 'financial' year at the mid year of 2010 =)? June - I supposed this is the busiest month for the first semester because exam period is drawing very near. So the most happening stuff I can think of was the study group we used to have. During that time we still yet to dominate our FYP lab and our final resort will be either library or cafeteria, and of coz not to forget the empty classroom in level 2. Hmm... Thinking back, those days where we get to sit together discussing pass year papers and crapping, were really great. =)
*An evident of 'engineering students are not 100% no-life'. We conquer the mountain! (Tabur only)
July - Semester break! and the greatest stuff during that time was the so called winter break of aussie people. Yea, winter break on a 24/7 summer-land. But that trip itself was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing trip of all.
August - The only stuff that pass through my mind when I think about August 2010 was the famine 30. Ok, to be exact I only starve for like 12 hours. Forgive me, I tried my very best to the extend I hid myself under the table to satisfy my hunger, just to avoid those camp-leaders caught me 'red-handed'. Overall, that camp was indeed unforgettable. I don think I will ever sleep on a few pieces of cardboard, in the middle of the road, right below the moon, and wake up after the 'nature's alarm' sounded (I mean raining).
September - FYP due date was drawing extremely near. However, this doesn't stop us from going to, perhaps the last Monash Ball. Paying around 80 something, and what we got in return was a memorable and glamorous night, with tonnes of photos. Probably that night was the only night where we dressed up till so glam =). I personally enjoy that ball (and of coz the after party) very much.
October - Stress was in the air, ok, maybe it was only myself because the FYP submission date was so near and yet my progress was practically zero. At least, there was something that took us out from the FYP lab and to my house for a house party session. Our main objective was to give Kha Liang a surprise for his birthday but then things kinda went off-track slightly. Still, it was one of the best gathering of all. Why? Imagine Si Keat and Wye Hoe said yes to attend and additionally you have Kee in quite a few photos. Haha... That is like the rare-est thing you can expect.
*The last picture before we went to the battlefield, against the notorious lecturers XD.
November - Time to say farewell to each and every corner of Engineering Building. The FYP presentation roughly marked the end of this 4 years of study life. What was left back then was only the final exam and soon after that was a long long break. 2nd semester... The thing that I missed most were those days where I spent most of my time in school, practically more than the time I spent at home. I still remember there was once the 12 of us went all the way to SS15 just to take away AyamMas chicken rice and ate it right in front of the library. Those days... Hmm...
December to April - Well, basically these four months were the most happening one. Malacca, Langkawi, Bali and Singapore. Need not to elaborate more on that, don't you? I am afraid further elaboration on that will put you in sweet slumber.
*Perhaps the happiest CNY of all
*It has been quite some time since the last time I had my dream here.
*Meet the sponsorship termination contract aka Degree Certificate
May - Marked the beginning of a new chapter of life. Totally different from the one previously. The pressure and stress took a different form, appearing in the same way as it used to be last time. No more format to follow, instruction as guidance nor anyone to seek for help. Everyone is busy and basically no one is going to spend out his few pieces of moment to listen to your problem. Just felt like I was thrown to the deep blue sea, in search for the seaside. Hopefully I won get drown halfway before I reach.
*不知不觉,三年了。。。
P/S: I met you as a student as well as a failure, kept on bothering you with my long-winded grandma story. Then I have you deliver my warm messages back home to my homies when I wasn't around. And occasionally, I shared the moments of some of my trips as well as other memorable events. Thanks for the accompany throughout these years and I hope that there are more happy moments to share with you. And now here I am as a so called engineer, wishing you...
*Happy Birthday, Resonance of Life. And thank you =).
